Blik Sens­ing B.V. process­es your per­son­al data because you use our ser­vices and/or because you pro­vide this data to us your­self. Below you will find an overview of the per­son­al data that we process:

• Oth­er per­son­al data that you active­ly pro­vide, for exam­ple by cre­at­ing a pro­file on this web­site, in cor­re­spon­dence and by telephone

Special and sensitive Personal Data

Our ser­vice does not intend to col­lect data about web­site vis­i­tors who are younger than 16 years old. How­ev­er, we can­not ver­i­fy whether a vis­i­tor is old­er than 16. We there­fore advise par­ents to be involved in their chil­dren’s online activ­i­ties to pre­vent data about chil­dren from being col­lect­ed with­out parental con­sent. If you are con­vinced that we have col­lect­ed per­son­al data about a minor with­out such con­sent, please con­tact us via info@blik-sensing.nl, and we will delete this information.

Purpose and legal basis

Blik Sens­ing B.V. process­es your per­son­al data for the fol­low­ing purposes:

• To be able to call or email you if this is nec­es­sary to car­ry out our services
• To inform you about changes to our ser­vices and products
• To offer you the pos­si­bil­i­ty to cre­ate an account
• Pro­tec­tion against and analy­sis of cyber­at­tacks (con­cern­ing log files with IP addresses)

Retention period

Blik Sens­ing B.V. does not retain your per­son­al data for longer than is strict­ly nec­es­sary to achieve the pur­pos­es for which your data is col­lect­ed. The reten­tion peri­od we apply to your per­son­al data (first and last name, email address, oth­er active­ly pro­vid­ed per­son­al data) is up to 1 month after the clo­sure of your account.

We retain log files and the IP address­es con­tained there­in for a max­i­mum of 6 months.

Third parties

Blik Sens­ing B.V. does not sell your data to third par­ties and only pro­vides it if this is nec­es­sary for the exe­cu­tion of our agree­ment with you or to com­ply with a legal oblig­a­tion. We enter into a data pro­cess­ing agree­ment with com­pa­nies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same lev­el of secu­ri­ty and con­fi­den­tial­i­ty of your data. Blik Sens­ing B.V. remains respon­si­ble for these pro­cess­ing activities.

Cookies

Blik Sens­ing B.V. uses only tech­ni­cal and func­tion­al cook­ies, and ana­lyt­i­cal cook­ies that do not infringe on your pri­va­cy. A cook­ie is a small text file that is stored on your com­put­er, tablet, or smart­phone when you first vis­it this web­site. The cook­ies we use are nec­es­sary for the tech­ni­cal oper­a­tion of the web­site and your ease of use. They ensure that the web­site works prop­er­ly and, for exam­ple, remem­ber your pre­ferred set­tings. They also allow us to opti­mize our web­site. This means that you can sub­mit a request to us to send the per­son­al data we hold about you in a com­put­er file to you or to anoth­er orga­ni­za­tion named by you. You can send a request for access, cor­rec­tion, dele­tion, or data trans­fer of your per­son­al data, or a request to with­draw your con­sent or object to the pro­cess­ing of your per­son­al data to info@blik-sensing.nl. To ensure that the request for access was made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of iden­ti­ty along with the request. Please black out your pass­port pho­to, MRZ (machine read­able zone, the strip of num­bers at the bot­tom of the pass­port), pass­port num­ber, and Cit­i­zen Ser­vice Num­ber (BSN) on this copy. This is to pro­tect your pri­va­cy. We will respond to your request as soon as pos­si­ble, but with­in four weeks. Blik Sens­ing B.V. would also like to point out that you have the option to file a com­plaint with the nation­al super­vi­so­ry author­i­ty, the Dutch Data Pro­tec­tion Author­i­ty. Security

Blik Sens­ing B.V. takes the pro­tec­tion of your data seri­ous­ly and takes appro­pri­ate mea­sures to pre­vent mis­use, loss, unau­tho­rized access, unwant­ed dis­clo­sure, and unau­tho­rized mod­i­fi­ca­tion. If you have the impres­sion that your data is not prop­er­ly secured or there are indi­ca­tions of mis­use, please con­tact security@blik-sensing.nl. Blik Sens­ing B.V. has tak­en the fol­low­ing mea­sures to secure your per­son­al data:

• TLS (for­mer­ly SSL) We trans­mit your data via a secure inter­net con­nec­tion. You can see this in the address bar with ‘https’ and the pad­lock icon in the address bar.
• DKIM, SPF, and DMARC are three inter­net stan­dards that we use to pre­vent you from receiv­ing emails in our name that con­tain virus­es, are spam, or are intend­ed to obtain per­son­al (login) details.
